5Storyline:
Battle of Thermopylae of 480 BC Greek city-states fought the invading Persian army in the mountain pass of Thermopylae. In an alliance vastly outnumbered, the Greeks were back at the enemy in the history of the most famous last stands. Persian King Xerxes lead to well over 100,000 (Persian king Xerxes before war has an army of about 170,000) and Army men to Greece and attended by 300 Spartans, Arcadians and the Hound a couple hundred. King Leonidas or Xerxes wait 10 days to be delivered to withdraw was not allowed to move. The battle lasted 3 days, and after that, all 300 Spartans were killed. Spartan defeat was not the one expected, as a shepherd local named Ephialtes, defected to the Persians of Xerxes separate path through Thermopylae, which the Persians could use the information to outflank the Greeks.
